How to Find a Club

To find a club in Arizona, use the Toastmasters International Find A Club page, where you can look up clubs by meeting day, time of day, city, or zip code.  Use the navigation selections on the page for the view most convenient for you.

The Mission of the Club

The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Distinguished Clubs

The Distinguished Club Program (DCP) helps Clubs accomplish the Mission by focusing on two areas:
  • Educational Awards: The number of educational awards issued to members determine each club's success in helping its members learn not only speaking skills but leadership skills as well.
  • Membership: In order to properly conduct the educational program, a club should have at least 20 members.  While membership turnover is unavoidable as members move, change jobs, etc. Clubs should continually strive to bring in new members to provide a stronger leadership base and continuous flow of fresh, new ideas.
  • The highest level in the DCP is President's Distinguished.

How to Start a Club

A new Toastmasters Club must have a minimum of 20 members. In addition to a $125.00 Charter Fee, the costs of starting a new Club are as follows: All new members pay a one-time new member fee of $20.00 (Transfer, dual, or reinstated members need not pay this fee), and all members of the new Club pay six months' advance dues of $27.00. Each Club may also choose to assess local chapter dues for each member to cover additional costs, i.e., Club banner, awards, refreshments, etc.

Club Assistance Program

We want our clubs and members to succeed and we're here to help.  Our Club Assistance team offers coaching to clubs with fewer than 12 members.  However, if your club needs a 'check-up', please contact the Lt. Governor Marketing at
