Recently, Toastmasters from around the world gathered in Phoenix to attend the 2007 International Convention. Members came to vote on the International Board of Directors election, select a winner in the World Championship of Public Speaking, hear world-class speakers give insightful educational sessions and of course, meet friends from home and abroad. To ensure that our guests were welcomed properly, hundreds of local District 3 folks and out-of-town Toastmasters joined the Host District committee to volunteer at one or more Convention activities. With their help, this was a Convention to remember! Thank you! Dee Dees and all the Host District Committee chairs . |
