District 3 "The Arizona District"

In 1938, District 3 was the first District organized beyond the borders of California. Back then, District 3 had only five clubs.  Today, District 3 has over 170 clubs and 3,000 members.  Most of our clubs and members are located in the metropolitan areas of Phoenix and Tucson, but excellent clubs are also located in Sierra Vista, Prescott, Sedona, Flagstaff and other communities around the state.  The boundaries of District 3 include all of Arizona except for the cities of Yuma and Page, and points north of the Grand Canyon.

 Toastmasters International Vision

Toastmasters International empowers people to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams. Through our member Clubs, people throughout the world can improve their communication and leadership skills, and find the courage to change.

 District 3 Mission

The mission of District 3 is to enhance the performance and extend the network of Arizona Clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters educational program by:

  •   Focusing on the critical success factors to meet the District's educational and membership goals

  •   Ensuring that each Club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members

  •   Providing effective training and leadership development opportunities for Club and District officers
